The Great 100 Year Bike Ride for Cholmondeley

Inspired by our friend René Heyde who biked across Australia for Cholmondeley last year, Cholmondeley's Patron Nuk Korako and Chairperson Nettles Lamont have taken on their own challenge - The Great 100 Year Bike Ride for Cholmondeley.

Together, Nuk and Nettles cycled the length of New Zealand's North Island together to fundraise for and celebrate 100 years of Cholmondeley Children's Centre.

This was Nuk's second ride raising money for a cause close to his heart. In 2022 he rode from Christchurch to Bluff raising funds for a young woman in need of life-changing surgery.

Nettles and Nuk spent two weeks in January pedalling the more than 1,000 kilometres to Wellington.

Following the North Island journey a South Island ride will begin later in 2025, with corporate teams encouraged to join for 150 km segments. Further details to come.

To donate head to Nuk or Nettles’ Givealittle pages.
