Cholmondeley provides child focused and quality, urgent and planned respite care for children between the ages of 5 and 12, and support for families during times when their own natural resources and support networks are not enough.

Childcare Worker

• Provide an excellent, quality service for children where all their care and developmental needs are met in a safe and stimulating environment.
• Undertake the care tasks of the residence, ensuring the best interests of the children are met at all times.
• Be a fully active member of the team of Cholmondeley in the delivery of a best practice service delivery model where children's wellbeing is given paramount importance.
• Ensure that the safety and wellbeing of children at Cholmondeley is maintained overnight
• Assist with the operational functioning of the home during the day through completing certain tasks and responsibilities overnight
• Ensure the security of the home and property overnight

Care Supervisor
Fulltime Permanent Position

• Provide excellent, empowering leadership and practice management of the childcare team
• Undertake the responsibility of the day to day operational management of the residence, ensuring the best interests of the children are met at all times.
• Be a fully active member of the management team of Cholmondeley in the development and maintenance of a best practice service delivery model that is integrated between the home and school.
• Can be the model of what is defined as good practice at Cholmondeley.

Cook
(24 hours per week)

• Provide food services at Cholmondeley that ensures children receive a nutritious, varied and appealing diet that is appropriate for their developmental needs
• Work alongside the children and care staff to plan, prepare and deliver a varied menu
• Be responsible for planning and making food orders in the most cost effective way, without compromising quality
